ISSA Central Plains Chapter
May 2nd 2025

Central Plains Chapter Meeting:

Distributed Technology Group

Presentations: DTG is a boutique, veteran-owned value-added reseller that takes a consultative approach to cybersecurity, cloud, and emerging technologies. They'll be leading us through a practical, no-fluff conversation aimed at cutting through the confusion around posture management tools - like DSPM, CSPM, ASPM, SSPM, CIEM, and more. Expect a session that covers:

  • What these tools actually do, and what they don't
  • How overlapping capabilities can create complexity (and how to manage it)
  • Why RBVM (Risk-Based Vulnerability Management) is becoming the glue that holds it all together
  • Real-world operational challenges teams face after buying the tools
  • Actionable steps to start simplifying your posture strategy

Speaker Bios:
Chris Goodfellow

The DTG speaker is Chris Goodfellow, who brings 20+ years of IT and cybersecurity experience to the conversation.
