Onspring delivers solutions for internal audit, risk management, compliance, legal and operations teams: all built on a flexible, cloud-based platform.

Beth & Michael will be presenting on Vendor Risk

Every business is a web of relationships between employees, clients and third parties. The outside providers you rely on bring different products and services to the table to help your business scale and succeed. But when it comes to third parties, you have much less visibility and authority over their environments. You accept risk by allowing third party vendors to access to your employees, your customers and potentially your data. Holding vendors to high standards for risk management is a significant challenge.

The topics of this presentation include:

  • Defining policies and procedures to manage risk
  • Initiating vendor relationships & identifying risk in the due diligence and selection process
  • Risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Building contracts to mitigate risk
  • Cadence for review of vendor risks & obligations over time
